		<description><![CDATA[Hooray for cute puppies! We haven&#039;t had much snow either up till the last few days. Now it&#039;s freezing cold and just plain icky outside, although our dog loves it! She frolics every time she goes out.

I have been spending the winter looking at paint swatches and contemplating garden layouts. Can&#039;t wait for spring! What about you?]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[You give me hope, because we bought a 1920s brick house with hardwood floors under the carpet, too. I just found this blog and saw your floor pictures and thought &quot;That looks a lot like our floors!&quot; It&#039;s good to know that with a little bit of sanding, yours came out so nicely. Do you know what kind of wood they are? I think ours are oak and they are very thick but also very old (almost 90 years). I&#039;m hoping they sand down that nicely!
