Hi! Instead of tackling large projects this week, I’m doing little things. Like giving the upstairs hallway a little update. This hallway is depressing. It’s this ugly, bright yellow and has no windows and is a sad place. When we are feeling more ambitious about painting again, it will be painted, but right now it’s gross and yellow. So yellow.

This is the light fixture on the ceiling. It looks like a candy dish!! It’s not staying, but is fine for right now.

Here is the hallway update. This huge mirror was outside in the lawnmower shed, part of a pair of mirrored closet doors. I’m pretty glad we don’t have mirrored closet doors, however, with the removal of the hardware, this one makes a pretty sweet giant hall mirror. This is a big deal for me, because I haven’t had a full length mirror in a long time. I’ve been standing on the bed to look at my outfit on the mirror on top of the dresser for a long time, now I can look at my whole outfit at once! The hallway looks a lot longer and brighter, now. I like mirrors.
See how gross the floor is? It’s weird tile made to look like wood and I hate it.

Funny… I was reading your post and then was starting at the first picture trying to come up with a helpful suggestion.. first thing that popped in my head was “full length mirror”! Then I start scrolling and BAM, what do ya know?!
